The school has two shifts Morning Shift (06.40 A.M. to 11.00 A.M.) & Day Shift (11.30 A.M. to 05.30 P.M.)
The school remains closed on the Thursday and Sunday.
It conducts the primary and junior sections up to Classes VI.
Pre Nursery, Lower Nursery, Upper Nursery & Kindergarten: 07.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.
Classes I – VI: 06.40 A.M. to 10.50 A.M.
It conducts the Middle school, Secondary section and the Higher Secondary section from Classes VII – XII (11.30 A.M. to 05.30 P.M.)
The School has all the three major disciplines of study i.e. Science, Commerce and Humanities offering a wide array of subject combination according to the aptitude of students.
The school has the largest Interact Club of Asia, in which all students from class VII onwards are members and they together do wonderful work for the people in need.
The School students are placed in four houses namely the Gandhi House, Nelson Mandela House, Martin Luther King Jr. House and Vivekananda House to inculcate self discipline and competition among them.
Sports and other extracurricular activities are considered to be an essential part of the educational curriculum to evolve complete development in every individual student. Such involvements develop self-esteem, devotion, sense of responsibility and an ability to work as a team.
The Outdoor Games offer Physical Training, Martial Arts, Rowing, Football and Cricket coaching by expert coaches. Every year there is an Annual Sports Meet in the Rabindra Sarovar Stadium.
Cultural activities are nurtured through regular dance, music, recitation, drawing, painting and craft classes to children. Inter-House and Inter-Class competitions are held regularly to induce encouragement among the young hearts. Students are given a chance to take part in various Inter-School competitions too. Every year, the school organizes Art Exhibition in the city’s notable art gallery, the Academy of Fine Arts.
Literary activities like Inter-House debates, quiz, extempore, elocution and creative writing are arranged to prepare the children to cope up with varied circumstances and to build up the children’s self-confidence including development of language skill and self -expression. The school participates in various science projects and even the environment – related events and other awareness events are observed sincerely. Awareness on Environment and Environmental variegated projects are being run by the Students and the Teachers frequently.
